The hydraulic cylinders arranged around the frame perform locking, tramp-iron protection and cavity clearing: the discharge setting is adjusted hydraulically without stopping the machine or removing parts; when uncrushable material enters, the cone retracts and the hydraulic system absorbs the impact, then the setting is restored automatically; in case of blockage, hydraulic cavity clearing removes the material quickly and shortens downtime.
